FOTOWERK aims to deliver to clients more than their expectations. The objective of each job is to reveal the passion of life.

The studio was originally created in 1991 by Gisela Lange who was born and educated in East Germany. After 10 years in England she emigrated to New Zealand and returned back to Germany in 2001 to set up there.

The emphasis of Gisela's work is to give a striking angle to her images, based on an understanding of client goals and of the local and international markets.

Gisela is easily recognised by her specialised post- and pre-production techniques. These include mostly traditional methods as well as digital manipulation; the combination of both colour and black and white; as well as toning and hand colouring. Gisela has been exposed to a wide range of subjects and genres, enabling her to provide a rich repertoire of photographic solutions.

Over the years, Gisela has won several awards and has been featured in a wide range of international publications. She is especially flexible in her readiness to undertake unusual and unknown assignments, as well as in her professionalism to satisfy client objectives, deadlines and budgets.

About the Studio

The studio is located in the industrial area west of Bensheim, in an characteristic old factory building area. The studio has 369 square metres of area, which includes:

• Reception area
• Conference room with bar facilities
• Dressing room (hair and make up)
• Kitchen
• Shower and bathroom facilities

We operate with digital Camera up to 22 Mio Pixels, as well as Mac G5 with all well known programs, such as Photoshop, etc. All film processing and printing is done by professional photo labs. We work with well known modelling agencies as well as stylists. Our clients are well known advertising agencies, as well as clients international.
